Please note, all of the protector models will fit bed lengths from 190cm up to 220cm.

Staying cool in the heat
Most of our modern mattresses have removable washable exterior fabrics, and our general advice is that a mattress protector is not necessary, as the mattress fabric acts as a hygienic, regularly washable layer. All mattresses benefit from 'breathability' and therefore the more layers you add to your sleep/sheet arrangement, the more breathability is reduced. However, for more traditional construction mattresses where the outer ticking can not be removed, a mattress protector is always a good idea from both hygiene and longevity perspectives. We believe a mattress protector should enhance the quality of your sleep. Therefore, breathability remains key to temperature regulation whilst sleeping. Many mattress protectors off waterproof membranes, which protect your mattress but massively reduce the free pass through of air. The 'Molton' mattress is absorbent and due to its Cotton stretch structure, is fully air permeable, keeping you cool in combination with your mattress. The stretch properties also mean that the mattress protector fits tightly to your mattress, add a subtle extra comfort, but most importantly without any creases forming under your sheet. We recommend washing your mattress protector every 1-2 months for total anti-allergen hygienic performance for your mattress.

The Formesse Stretch Molton is made from 82 % cotton 16 % polyester and 2% Elastane. Naturally certified in accordance with the OekoTex® Standard 100, awarded the Confidence in Textiles seal of approval and “made in Germany“.
